So...due to growth and less than perfect planning π
I have had to install Auto aligning/non derailing accessories on a few of my Gargraves turnouts.
The first one works great.
The second not so much-it aligns without fail.
The issue is that the only time the LEDs on the DZ1000 switch device only light as the wheels cross by the frog.
The lights on the push button device work properly.
I have always enjoyed following my trains and manually throwing the turnouts. Just as I have enjoyed the fact that my MTH turnouts auto align.
I have the MTH turnouts on reversing loops and the legs of my Y.
And since I added another yard, I gained another reversing loop-which is why the Gargraves are being wired for non derailing.
This turnout is behind a wall, so the buttons are about 5β from it, where they can be seen from the rest of the layout.
This particular Gargraves Turnout-was purchased with the switch motor-not a manual conversion.
I do not know if the center rail is wired.
Any insight why the LEDs are not constant will be appreciated, since this turnouts location is in the laundry room/storage area-the lights are normally off..so being able to see the LEDs is necessary when the train is entering from the points end-to ensure alignment for the correct route.
Which on my railroad-
Green=mainline.
Red=diverging
Sorry for the abundance of information
Thanks.
