Gate problem with culvert unloader

I have a newer release culvert unloader, but not TMCC. I somehow bumped the switch to on and left it running for a long enough time that the lift motor failed. A friend of mine replaced the motor and the mechanism works fine but the left hand gate does not close properly. I remember sometime years ago, I had gate problems and someplace found instructions on how to adjust the gate movement. If anyone knows how that is done, please let me know.
