Christmas Generator Boxcar arrived in the mail today. Coil & Frame get pretty warm. Slight design & wiring changes between the 2 cars. Hopefully in the next few days, I'll get some time to figure out how these things work.

Looks like the fan may be rubbing the top of box car roof! I would take the top of the box car off and see if the fans spins freely, pushing with you finger and see if you can make it spin, you mid find the fan blade is press to far down rubbing the motor or as I said hitting the top of the box car roof!

Relocated some snow & back inside. Another snow storm coming for my area of Alaska.
Shell removed - no difference in operation. Removed some bracket holding things in place - no difference. Going to find a meter & check the frame for voltage. Frame & coil get really hot. I'll pull the Green car with the rest of the Christmas cars. I'll power the tree with Blue car on a dead end. Whenever, I put up track around the big tree - lol.
