OK all, I am getting started using a Legacy Powermaster 360 and a Legacy Cab1L remote. Honestly I am finding the instructions confusing on some areas. My first question is if the Powermaster is set to the command switch position and the power is turned on on the 2 Powerhouse bricks will power automatically be applied to the track NO or does the Powermaster need to be "turned on" from the Cab1l?YES Also is there an on/off switch on the Cab1 or does it just go to sleep?IT SLEEPS
Setting it up in Command mode, as you have described, power to the track is controlled by the remote. Power is at the Powermaster when the brick(s) are on, but the Powermaster must be addressed and issued a command for track power to be present or removed.
I prefer assigning it a TR type of ID#. ENG seemed confusing to me, but, if you have some MU engine sets, TR becomes the confusing ID.
Powermaster ID assigned, bricks on, Cab 1L base and remote on and connected to common - Enter the TR/ID# (Press TR, then #)- Next press the BOOST button.
There should be full voltage on the track.
To turn off track power - press AUX 1 and then O.

Are you good now?
