With all the administrative stuff being completed next week, I will become a volunteer at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania! All the years of growing up reading about, watching films of, and playing with trains will now be put to use!
I wanted to be able to be in one of the locomotives or cars there and be able to tell visitors the history of something and how it worked. Educate them on a vital part of our country's history and future. Pass along my interest and love of railroading to them, see those that are interested become even more so.
I am so very looking forward to this! I get to work on real trains! If they were operating, that would be the full dream, but I'm not complaining!
