Bought a GG1 at York last Friday number 2360. Box is stamped 2360-27. What does the 27 denote? Is it part of the description of the locomotive or just the box? Thanks for your help! Bobby Cox

2360's came in different colors (red or green) and ether 5 stripe or solid stripe the 27 will tell you which it is...hope this helps....joe
LIONEL #2360-27 equals GG1 (GREEN 5 STRIPE)
No hidden meaning, the box matches the engine.
