GGD to the left, 3rd Rail to the right. GGD is slightly lower and 3/4" longer. Two photos below show different window arrangements.

Probably cause one is Santa Fe specific. Or did you decal it ATSF ?

Engineer John, Best guess is the 3rd Rail was offered in 2006 and the GGD about four years later. I'll gladly accept corrections from members who specialize in high end items.
Ron, This car is as from the factory via Beth. You and I split the Observation Car/ Dining Car pair she had For Sale. The lettering looks like stamp pad. John
I wonder if these will be run again? I have a prr Heavyweight OBS that is missing a train! I have two 12-1 sleepers on order. Need the rest.
I'd love to see 3rd rail break down their plastic heavyweight production, what has been done? What will be next? It's kind of all over the place.

Testing the trains this afternoon, I turned around our Sunset/3rd Rail dining car. I noticed light showing through one clerestory vent/window. Does anyone else have a heavyweight car with light showing in a clerestory vent/window? Thanks, John in Lansing, ILL
