Some of the original offerings were as low as $160 plus shipping. The price was quickly change to $200 plus. There were, I believe (3) different color offerings. Only criticism was related to the steps and ladder not being scale. Harry Hieke did a resin cast concrete foundation for the Tower, which was probably another $20.
RD, Over in the 3-rail scale forum Scott Mann's AC-9 post he mentions doing another run of the towers in the future.

also there was no access catwalk to get to the coal release chains. the Lionel version had catwalks everywhere.
Dewey; that tower is beautifully detailed. Really nice work.
Do you have any more close up pix to share?

This is from the Sunset/3rdrail update for March:
"Our Chinese factory that produces the Plastic passenger cars was down for over 1 and half years due to labor difficulties. It has been moved to a new facility and they will begin the production process for the Modernized Heavyweight Coaches shortly. We hope to have these finished this summer. After which, we will announce some reruns of the Wooden Coaling Tower, 12-1 / 8-1-2 Pullman Sleepers and Diner / Observation Sets for a late 2014 production. We thank you for your incredible patience."

The GGD model is a very good one. The $ 195.00 for one in new condition sounds like a fair price. I bet he would take less near the end of the show.
