A brief video of the Detroit Historical Museum's "Glancy Trains" modular layout at the two day Novi, MI "Great Train Show" this past weekend.  It's never been a great show for buying as a hobbyist, but it's certainly always a draw for families with kids which I see as a great thing.  I was rather amazed at the number of small kids that obviously spend a lot of time watching videos and researching preserved real steam locomotives.  Many of them were fans of the N&W 611, UP 844, and of course the Big Boy which all saw run time on the layout by myself and other members of our group throughout the weekend.  It was nice getting back into the "show business" with the modular layout after a rather long hiatus from regular train shows due to Covid.

Jake,

Thanks for the nice video.   That was quite the layout that you were able to assemble for all of those lucky viewers in attendance!  (I'm sure the "one of a kind" paper towel gondola was effective in delivering it's payload on time, and in one piece.)

I know that my boys have enjoyed watching various Glancy layouts through the years, and I'm sure you generated plenty of smiles and nice memories at this show.
