Some footage of the Glancy Modular layout at the 2013 Gratiot Valley Train Club show at the Macomb Community College Expo center in Warren, Michigan.  I was trusted with the controls of the Lionel "Empire State Express", a very cool looking train  I believe the club member running the BN train ended up having 5 locomotives (all powered) on the head end during the show, a very impressive sight.  Not seen in the video, but my PRR GG1 was put on the head of the ESE cars which caused a bit of commotion between the NYC and PRR fans

Overall, a fun day.

Enjoy

It is one of my favorites of the streamlined steamers, with the others being the similar 20th Century Limited Dreyfuss hudson and the N&W J (guess it's the bullet noses I like).

This show really made me realize how many names I still have to learn.  Bob's being one of them.  I know I've seen most, if not everybody, that was at the show before.  I'll get the whole list together in my head one of these days.
