We are becoming a little more active on Facebook for those who participate. A couple of us are regularly updating the page with local Detroit area events that our modular layout is scheduled to attend. Please follow our page for updates and event information.
For those that don't know, the Glancy Trains Modular Layout is owned by the Detroit Historical Museum. Our volunteer crew transports, sets up and operates the display during various local events as a traveling ambassador for the museum. The museum in Downtown Detroit houses many artifacts relating to Detroit history and is also home to the Glancy Trains permanent layout located in the basement of the museum.
