This past weekend Ginny and I hosted our annual (usually) train party.
Lots of good friends and trains.
One of our best friends, Gustav Verderber, nationally known photographer took these two.
I like the one without me the best.

Sher oh my are you starting a second career?

Great Pictures.Just recently a World War 2 veteran at the Veterans clinic I go to gave me some lionel trains from the early 50`s.He said he wanted them to go to a fellow combat vet.I was very honored and the funny part was that just the day before I was out looking at some lionel trains for the Christmas tree.Being a disabled vet now I have a hobby I can do even with my limitations.
One can't beat sharing trains with others. We had our open-house a bit over a week ago. About 50 people (more than half young kids) saw the Christmas layout this year.
Sounds like you all had a wonderful time. There is nothing like a Christmas Open house to bring about good times.
I agree. Good friends and trains are what this hobby is all about.
Eliot I was just thinking, there has to be a lot more photo's you took that day.
Come on lets see them.
Alex
very nice pics
The Thomas pic looks very "Christmas-ey" with all the snow and lit houses. I'm sure the kids loved it! Very nice!

As usual, Eliott, great stuff!
Looks like fun! We're doing ours this weekend.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Thanks to Eliot and Ginny it was a terrific day at Casa Feliz. The Holiday layout was very engaging and the Munoz Lines is beyond belief.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Eliot...that second picture looks familiar.....I know I have seen it before, somewhere.....uhmmm.....WAIT a minute...!! I know, I was just in the post office and they have it up on the wall!!!
OK...had to have a little fun with ya..... Always a lot of fun to share this hobby with friends and it looks like you had a good time!!
Happy Holidays..
Alan
Nice Photos Eliot!
I would have loved to be there, hope you all had a great day!
Thank You for your service too Killian. As soon as we close on this house I`m building a workbench in the basement so I can work on my trains and my Ham radio equipment.I got a real nice No41 Army switcher that I need to replace a hand rail on.I have the parts now I just need a work area.Future plans call for a small layout and a test track for when I do my repairs.I`ll buy a few locos that need TLC and make them look like new.As a licensed aircraft mechanic I learned a lot of good stuff that I`ll be able to use in this hobby. Thanks For welcoming me here and Merry Christmas to ALL!
Nice photos!!
