That commercial certainly makes an immediate indelible impression, especially on us modelers in the train world. What impression it makes on the non-train-hobbyist, I am not certain at all. The commercial is odd, isn't it, but in a good way? Well, I'd imagine it does sell the glue.

Gorilla Glue seems to have acquired a positive reputation quite quickly. The commercial makes its point quickly, too.

Yea, give the monkey the throttle 😏

Not that it matters much this time, but note: even the maker calls the product "super glue" in the title.

I just see a confusing trend of saying "I used Gorilla Glue" when the poster used Gorilla brand Super Glue. (also known as Crazy Glue or "CA" for cyanoacrylate ...also confusing because CA was used for "Contact Adheasive" in modeling before instant bonds became popular.)

"Gorilla Glue" is an expanding foam glue, most often used in wood applications. It is not suitable for most modeling.  It was around years before they expanded their lines and any carpenter isn't going to make an easy assessment of it's context like that.
