At the same I became enriched with hobby money from cashing in my piggy banks, I set up my dad's prewar set on the floor and there was some really nice pieces on sale from a forum member. Not knowing anything really about standard gauge, but liking what I saw, we made a deal for the Mojave No10 and four 500 series freight cars. I quickly learned there are nine 500 series freight cars. From some quirk in my personality, when I get a list, I am a man on a mission. So, I quickly have collected some really nice cars, one of each, and I'm good. And a kind of beat up peacock green 512 gondola car because I believe every man should own a peacock gondola. And carry it with him at all times.
