Grade angles

I thought these might be useful. This relates the % grade to degrees for cutting vertical support members for various grades. 1% = .57 degrees; 2% = 1.15; 3% = 1.72; 4%= 2.29; 5%= 3.43; 6%=3.43. I'm using grades closer to 3%, so the slight angulation keeps the support flush to the roadbed. JA
