Website still active, and the inventory page says it was last updated 10/29/23 - not recent, but not a long time ago either. However, Google says "permanently closed". I gave up on trying to order from them years ago because their online inventory was inaccurate. Suggest trying to call their phone number.
FWIW, threads about that business tend to get deleted, although I'm not sure why.
This past November I had stopped in Trains and Toy Soldiers store in Lincoln, NE (advertises on OGR). Talking with the owner I asked about Grand Central's situation. Was told Grand Central's owner was alive and well. Store owner said " he was just in the store the other day to bring me a part from his inventory". Version I was told was Grand Central's owner wanted to retire and a neighboring business made an offer and bought his building, Grand Central closed the business, kept the train inventory and was putit in storage.
