Wet to the Pgh. Greenberg show this morning expecting the worse. Guss what ?? Got there 30 mins. before opening, parked in front of the door, read the paper awhile, stood in line i the sun for about 10 mins and we went right in. Not as many dealers as in the old days especially when you discount the video and cap and shirt dealers but they help pay the rent.  Lots of families with their kids which is good for the hobby.  So get there early. More stuff there than I could ever buy, for sure. New, old, parts, junk for restoring and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

I got there a little before 11:00 and the place was packed  The crowd thinned out a bit as the day wore on.  I Parked across the road at the Home Store.  I found all but one thing I had in mind to look for, so it was a success in that way.  I also gabbed with Uncle Fester and Ray who was with him.  Then I went over to the Pittsburgh Independent Hirailers layout and yacked with them some.  Lets see, there was Andy, Thom, Matt, Tom if I remember correctly, Dr. Jack, Machinist the new guy, and some others.  I liked the way they had the one long side curve in towards the middle then back out.  They said they use those when they setup at Kennywood Park.  Dr. Jack's rocket factory was a hoot.  Those rocket cars are something to see, as are the large Caterpillar cars.  Nice steam locomotives running too.
