Yes, Milwuakee Road works great for Halloween. Add a few stickers to cover the name and here's what I have.

I got the engine at the Greenberg show in Pittsburgh last year.

The Lionel Peanuts train set has some excellent Halloween organ music, kinda like the Don Knotts movie, The ghost and Mr. Chicken.  

Well, for traditional-sized cars, I still say the Lionel Mikado released in 2017 is hard to beat, especially since Lionel is producing matching ELX freight cars (one already released and two more in the works). I run it at home on my Halloween layout as well as at the club when the spirit strikes me, 

And the Lionel Transylvania RR Docksider isn’t dead yet, either. It’ll share time again on my Halloween layout along with the Mikado.
