My older TMCC 2-8-0 has a couple of broken posts; they are 5/32" from the base of the post (where it sticks out from the boiler) to the tip. I found some on eBay, but these are 7/32", and that small difference is not ideal, to say the least.

The Lionel website shows that these are no longer available for this particular engine. Would one of you with the new release H10 be willing to measure a post on yours? I can imagine that parts for that newer model are available, and it seems that those posts would be the same and would be a good fit for my loco.

Thank you.

Of course I did that  but just in the normal handling of the engine (to say nothing of when it needs to be disassembled for servicing), those that have snapped are very prone to re-breaking. The good news is, since they are held in place by the handrails, those little pieces don't just fly away and get lost.

Perhaps I just need to learn to live with it; not a big deal.
