mine was in China at the Hard Rock Cafe   We adopted both of our girls from China.  Both girls "gotcha days" are are in early June so each child's Father's Day was celebrated here.

now they're almost 19 and 16   They've grown up, but I refuse to...it's a trap

I spent the morning at a train buddy's house (HO). Here are few shots from his layout.

Right now, a couple racks of ribs are smoking out on the Traeger smoker/grill. This evening we're going over to my sister's house for dinner, and serve up the ribs. My daughter will be there. First time in well over ten years either of my kids have been with me for Father's Day. Good to have her back in town, now that she's done with college.

EDIT: Oops, misread the question. If I'm not mistaken, I was at Mall of America running enterTRAINment, at least part of the day.

I spent the day at my parents house in northern Arizona where it was only 101 degrees yesterday and had a wonderful time with my Mom, Dad and my three daughters of which one starts her first full time job the last week of July, the second goes to college at the end of August and the youngest starts 3rd grade in early August.

My dad and I talk trains a lot.  He more or less rebuilt my MTH proto-1 AC-6 Cab Forward over the last month so I was able to take it home.  It runs like a champ now!  A great day all around.

I was displaying my Jeep with my WW2 living history group in Olympia, WA. Saw some neat planes, too.

I did get tired of people wishing me a happy father's day, as my wife and I were unable to have kids. People really shouldn't assumeanyone over the age of about 25 or so has to be a parent. There is a huge issue in this country with people who can't have kids. I also saw a man tear up at the show when someone wished him a happy Father's day as his only child died in an accident over the winter...
