Happy Independence day to everyone! Stars And Stripes Forever! Of course I had to make a video with my Alaska Railroad Bicentennial locomotives and caboose for the 4th of July! Feel free to tap your toes, hum along to the music or conduct the band! Thanks to the USMC Band for their music and to the USCG Band for their music too! And of course Rich Oehrig for all his help in the Bicentennial locomotive and caboose project! It wouldn't have been this grand without his help! There are some custom 3D printed parts used here he helped make and he spearheaded the graphics to do this!

Norm that's a great around the room shelf layout you've got there. You've posted pic or a video before b I had not noticed the pipeline until today. The bicentennial F units came out great. There are a lot of repainted RRR shells popping up on e-bay, Bicentennial and other schemes. I wonder if Rich is painting those? I like your version of the ARR logo, imaginative and well executed.

Thanks Joe! Those shells are painted by the same guy who painted mine, Randy Jones. There were a few shells swapped for various reasons along the creating process to get to mine. They are still nice, just not quite what I got. Close though! Rich is my friend to the north. He and I are both having Randy make us a set of these bicentennial locomotives. Some of the other Alaska schemes you see Randy selling were prototypes for what Rich is having Randy make for him in addition to his Bicentennial set. Rich made on his 3D printer some of the custom parts we are using on these locomotives and the caboose.
Norm, As you know from our activity on FaceBook groups I love your Alaska Railroad. I really am impressed with your videos as well! This is no exception! The Stars and Stripes Forever! How did you know that is one of my favorites? Parts of it give me goose pimples!
Have a great Independence Day from The Keystone State to The 49th State!!!!

Norm,
Love your heart for Alaska and model railroading. Im an old man but have a small layout in memory of my dad who worked on the Alaskan railroad in the 50's. I only have a MTH switcher but looking for more .
