Happy New Year everyone! I hope your year will be filled with engines and rolling stock.
Doug
Will you stop rubbing it in that you live in Hawaii. I would hate to live on an island. I would feel like I am in jail, or stuck in an elevator.
Anyway, Happy & healthy New Year to all.
Do thanks. Always enjoy your pictures here on the forum, but really like this one. Happy New Year to everyone here on the forum.
Happy new year Don!
Happy New Year everyone!
Great picture. When was it taken?
CH, about 12:30 today. Don
And a very Happy New Year to you from the staff and management of the Chicago, Milwaukee, and Southwestern Railroad. (That would be me.)
And here's a picture of an "island girl" with a Hiawatha. (She's Fijian and Maori.)

I'll e-mail you offline. I lived in Suva for three years. Needless to say, it's one of my favorite places, too. The island girl is a high chief and an Olympic athlete.

Hau'oli Makahiki Hou to you and Vicky!
OK wise guy. I also live on an island which is beautiful . . . uh . . . but we also have rain, sleet, snow, clouds, leaves to rake, -0° temps. Not boring like 24/7 sunshine.
.....
Dennis
Dennis, I guess I love to be bored. Allan thanks, that's become our theme song. Don (wise guy)
A Happy New Year from your island neighbor
OMG, there's another one of us? When did you come on the Forum? What island? Don
Happy New Year everyone! Ya know, most of us only know each other through our writings on this forum. But there is a deeper element of fellowship and friendship that always comes shining through. It is a part of our common bond through the love of our trains and childhood memories!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVERYONE ON THE OGR
Happy New Year every one.
Don - I don't live on an island like you do but both mine and my wife's family come from an island on the other side - a little place called Sicily.
Sicily, loved going through the ruins. Only had a few days there. Have you gone to see where your folks grew up? Don
Scale Rail,
Happy New Year back at ya from the mountains of Pa, and all the best in the coming year!
PCRR/Dave
You got a bit to go to midnight scale rail....the east coast guys are in bed already and it's only 9:46 here on the west coast....
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happy New Year from another Island, home of the L.I.R.R.

Never got the chance Don. I was stationed in Tuscany (Camp Darby) from 1981 to 1984. We were going to make the trip but the wife had some medical problems at the time and the doctors didn't want us taking any long trips.
Happy New Year to you Don. Maui is one of my favorite places and it would be impossible not to like it.
Keep us posted on the build out of your new layout.
Don,
I'm curious why the gal in the bikini is giving us the Texas Longhorn sign? Does she usually wear Wrangler's instead of a bikini?

Jim, glad you had a great time here. People are wonderful here. I've never seen kids treated so well. I've never seen so many smiles. Vicky my wife is aunty Vicky to so many kids. It's truly an amazing place. Don
We hope to come back in a few years (I retire in 9 years when I reach 62) and check out Maui and a couple of the other islands.
