Wasn't sure where to post this but figured it will get the most views here.
I will be in Harrisburg the weekend on April 15/16 for another new hobby lol. My first time showing a co-owned dog. Hopefully if no service calls for Monday, I will have some spare time. Is there anywhere in the immediate area I should check out? Layout, real trains, or train store?

Strasburg is only a few miles away and has the Pennsylvania RR museum, The Strasburg rail road and the TCA museum.
If you're interested in modern railroading you can see a lot of NS traffic headed west out of Harrisburg on the Pittsburgh Line. There are many good places to watch trains, the one closest to Harrisburg that is popular with the local fans is called "Cove." It's not the most scenic but it is conveniently located.
If you're not from around the area I recommend Strasburg. They run Sunday from like 11-3 and the museum is right across the street. Also, about 1/4 mile up the road is the Choo Choo Barn which is a large indoor layout.
