Not yet, I am planning on doing it outside for the kids to enjoy. Be just a simple oval, few cars I made with skulls and eyeballs on 2 flats. Painted a old scout shell orange/black will put that on a chassis. Have 5 Lemax buildings to go with it. Should be fun!
Now I just hope the weather is dry!
Satan, Witches, Warlocks, Demons, Vampires, Ghouls, Goblins, The Undead, The Cursed, and the rest of the openly evil Halloween crowd are not welcome in my home.
Trainlover160, very nice and impressive layout you have there. WOW!!!!!

Trainlover160 Awesome Layout!! Very nicely done!
I have a section of my layout devoted to Halloween all year long, fits in well with the Fall theme on the layout. This year I found zombie figures at York, so they are on my L Haunted Station and in other areas. (I'm actually tired of all the zombie phenom)
Thanks Guys that is very kind. that is why I always like being able to see what other members are doing, so we can all share the ideas.

I partly agree, especially when it comes to "openly evil." Cute little kids always get treats from us. The "big" kids and adults aren't quite so welcome, in fact they kind of make me nervous. Halloween ain't in my train scheme, but like my favorite band leader always said, "Whatever smokes yer shorts!"

Gilly,
Very nice pics. I love your scenery!!

Ahh. The BNSF h2 color scheme was just MADE for Halloween, wasn't it!
Last year my daughter and I gave the Polar Express an Halloween overhaul..
Sadly, this year nothing, as all the train stuff is already securely packed and ready to be ship overseas.
Not this year, having work done on house, therefore no room (and too dusty) to bring out the layout. Very disappointed

I've never put Halloween themes into my small layout, though the 1/4" scale village does put up an illuminated Christmas tree.
I wonder, though, where you guys are getting your autumn trees. Part of my layout is in a perpetual Fall, but I don't seem to have enough colored trees to populate it.

Where are you moving to? And are you coming back?
Very cool video, BTW. You did a nice job on your layout.
Great pics.
I am over in he USA at the moment as we have a house in FL. I have really got into the Halloween thing. A neighbour had some Halloween yard decor so I decided to follow suit with a snoopy dog kennel (always loved the great pumpkin as a kid)air blow and some Halloween lights.
Having great fun with the neighbours and just our second make that third group of trick or treaters.
My Mom was brought up in the States and always made a big thing of Halloween but its's
only just catching on back in the UK.
Happy Halloween guys
Nick
Pouring rain here in Michigan, but we still got a few trick or treaters. Halloween is catching on in Germany, you see halloween costumes and decorations for sale in the stores, and one of my nieces (age 20) said she is going to a big Halloween party.
@ NIck: Are you spending the winter in Fl?

Hi John, I wish LOL. Back to UK Monday. Had quiet a few trick or treaters here and it stayed dry. Best laugh I had tonight was taking our 5 year old trick or treating and the first 2 houses we went to were Brits!

Here is a short video of my little halloween train.
Yup, but coming down this weekend so I can start hanging the 10,000 Christmas lights.

Repeating what I posted on another Halloween thread a few days ago:
A request and reminder to our talented--and spooky--Forum friends!
I always like to theme-related photos in our various seasonal issues of the magazine, including Halloween in our October issue.
If you're willing to share your Halloween "picture treats" with our readers next year, please keep us in mind. Individual photos for Readers' Rails are welcome, as are full features if you built a Halloween-theme layout. Even Halloween-related how-to articles are welcome. Just remember I need hi-res images to work with for publication. Send me an e-mail at editor [@ symbol] ogaugerr.com if you have something you believe would be of interest and I'll take it from there.
Thanks much!
