I have a Z-4K hooked up to a Rev. L TIU; a WIU; SER-2; and Legacy. The TIU and WIU have both been upgraded to the latest firmware/software. I also have a new Insignia 32 GB Android device; however, I'm not familiar with how Android devices operate.
Issue #1: I can set-up the WiFi unit to run on the MTH Network and connect the device to the MTH Network and the purple, yellow power and blue lights on the WiFi unit all function, but when I try to connect to my home network it won't connect. After pushing the WPS button on my home router (Xfinity), I push the WPS button on the WiFi unit and the white and blue lights on the WiFi unit blink like it's searching for the home network but the lights never stop blinking and it doesn't connect. Not sure if I should try the non-WPS method or keep trying using the WPS button method. Also, not sure if this is related to Issue #2.
Issue #2: I was able to download the free MTH WiFi app to the device, but cannot upgrade to the Premium version. After going to the "Upgrade" section of the free app, after clicking on "Premium" and "Buy", I keep getting an Error message that says the transaction cannot be completed. I don't think it's a payment-type issue because I was able to rent a movie and the payment went through ok. Can't figure out why the upgrade won't go through.
