In this short video we see my MTH SD90MAC-HII lead a grain train.
This is a Proto Sound 2.0 engine that was released in 2006. It's the largest diesel I currently own and is a favorite of mine.
While NS never owned any of the HII's, they recently bought 100 former Union Pacific SD90MAC's that they are planning to rebuild into a class of engines called the SD70ACU. They will get newer ACe style cabs upgraded electrical systems. With this work they will look very close to the HII's. At least this is what I think...we'll see when the ACU's arrive.
In the mean time, here we have my HII doing it's thing!
