It appears some people would shoot the golden goose for leaving a few feathers on the floor! Just sayin! Menards, just so you know,I will sweep happily!!
Hey Menards,
I just picked up one of the "Scale" CN Flat Cars with the Canada Rescue Helicopter and I must say it is quit nice indeed. That being said, it would be even nicer if the "Built 2015 by MENARDS" stamp wasn't in such a conspicuous spot on the side of the car. Perhaps it could be stamped on the bottom of the car? Lionel finally got it right.

If Menards didn't care, first and foremost, about making money, Menards would no longer be in business and therefore neither these cars, nor anything else Menards sells, would be available.
I hope Menards doesn't start producing open top coal hoppers. I don't have room on my layout for a dozen WM hoppers.
The PS-2-CD 4750 Cu Ft Capy. 3-bay covered hoppers were first built in 1972.
The Chessie System formed in 1972.
How many PS-2-CD 4750 hoppers did the B&O acquire?
Was there ever a 4750 3-bay hopper in the old B&O scheme?
Andrew
Thanks Menards! I love your buildings, and have run out of room. I am now planning on expanding and redoing my layout, in anticipation of additional buildings (among other design goals)! A grain train would be awesome!
I found these roster numbers for Pullman-Standard 4750 Cu. Ft. 3-bay covered hoppers.
SCL 241300-241599 (built 1973) to SBD 250760-251058 to CSXT 250760-251058
B&O 603700-603899 (built 1973) to B&O 254036-254218 to CSXT 254036-254218
The B&O 4750s must have been delivered only in the Chessie System paint scheme since the merger was in 1972.

Good Day Mark - The Menards Train Guy,
I'm ready to buy when you supply!

Good Day Mark - The Menards Train Guy,
Grain Hoppers would be a top seller!.......... I'm ready to buy when you supply!
I'm not concerned with scale. However; I'd buy any modern Norfolk Southern hopper or tank car. I'd buy 10 of them.
Swafford now that is a scheme I would add to our grain car fleet. VBG
