Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been into the railroad hobby since I was born. I am into both O gauge and live steam engine. I currently have a small oval and run legacy. I have been trying to build up my collection little by little. I do have a lot of older Lionel rolling stock, engines , tracks and accessories which I will post at some point for sale. Right now I am into the modern o scale trains.

Welcome!!!
A "train friend" of mine has gotten into ride-on trains big time in the last decade. He bought a "new" RS-3 last year, and is having it painted in L&N gray and yellow by an auto-body/paint guy. They often call it "live steam", even though most don't have steamers.
He has not completely left his O-gauge roots, but that is not his main focus any more. The scale/gauge that the ride-on guys use is 1.5"/foot and I believe 7" (or 7.5"? I forget) gauge.
So, when he misses an "O-gauge" swap meet or such to go to their "layout" (it's huge), we always say that he's off playing with his little "one-and-a-half-inch friends".
