Hi! Everyone, I am from India...I am new to this forum...But I am in need of help.

Few weeks back my uncle gifted me  Lionel TMCC Pennsylvania GG1 Locomotive #4925. A small accident happen and the engine fell from a height of 8 feet, and few parts were damaged like Coil Couplers and Powered Truck SideFrame, but still the locomotive was working perfectly fine. So I contacted Lionel and ordered the new parts to replace the damage parts. but when i replaced my damaged parts, My Locomotive stopped moving and the rail sound stopped functioning, though Lights and pantographs are working perfectly. I also checked the circuit board, It seemed okey.

Well I dont understand how did it stopped all of a sudden. I only replaced the powered Truck Side frame and the coil couplers and it stopped moving.

I really need help, Please help me...

Thank you in advance.

If you need any further details I can provide.

By the way even after falling from that height, my engine was moving and the rail sound was working perfectly fine...and parts I replaced are not very complicated parts, they are very simple to replace and i dont even need to touch any circuit boards

Thank you Mr. Rod and Mr. Bandob for replying Well I did open the shell to chand the couplers but didn't touch anything else...I rechecked twice, but everything seemed ok... My switch was on program rather run but I did switch to run, as I use conventional transformer.... I have no clue what's wrong...can there be some setting issue....
You mite want to check the wires to the odessey switch one of them may broke loose and may need re soder check any wires too on the inside of the engine for any sheared ,or broken loose from connection. I had a engine go dead one time cause of the wire breaking away from the prog/run switch and would not move at all til I fixed it
Good luck
Ken
