Help please - MTH Tuna transport car dead | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hoping for some wisdom from you experts. I bought an MTH 30-79432 operating tuna car new a few months ago and today it was working one moment and then the next it was completely dead. No electrical smell, no noise, just nothing.

I took the shell off the car and managed to knock out the two LEDs on the underside of the roof. I don’t want to break anything so hoping this might be something that someone else has experienced before and can provide some guidance. It has worked flawlessly since purchased in May until now. I use it on 18 volts with LC+ locomotives. Transformer is a Z4000.
