Help required for colour scheme on Lionel Shanty

Has Nobody ever built up this kit & improved on the colour scheme? would love to see any photos of your improvements. James

This is what I did with it. It was my very first attempt at changing colors and adding interiors. I installed a bathroom down stairs and desk upstairs. I also added warm white led's to illuminate the details. I also considered green on green, darker trim and lighter body color.

One additional note, the plastic in the kit that I put together was very thin and warped. It made it quite difficult to put the parts together. I think the 80's version of that kit is much better to work with.

The one I have started out molded in brick red. I painted some grey trim and painted the doors and stairs brown. Not a lot of items on my layout are painted.

It looks great with the improvements. I have a secondhand unimproved version on one layout. I was interested to see what the original box looks like, also.
