Can anyone please help me with wiring the above two items. I got the MTH infra-red sensor that many had suggested in a former post, but am having trouble getting it to work. I have the infra-red sensor auxillary posts connected to track power and the normally open and closed posts connected directly to my hot and ground posts on my transformer. I have tried adjusting the sensitivity, but it is not picking up the train engine.
Also, some help besides the diagrams given in the instruction booklet would help me as I have not had much luck with trying to wire this Mel's Diner as well. I guess I need some very simple instructions for a simple minded person. Thanks! to all who have responded to my posts in the past.
