Gentlemen, I have a Lionel scale Santa Fe F-3 ABA set circa 2004-5, engine No. 19. One of the number board lamps in the unpowered-A unit is burned out. It is a tiny Grain-O-“Something” about 3/32” in diameter, and is glued into a red plastic bracket with something that looks like Walther’s Goo. Two questions:
1) How would Lionel Tec’s remove the lamp? If the glue isn’t soluble, all I can think of is to crush the lamp in place, and carefully scrape/clean the bracket.
2) What is the voltage supplied, and is it AC or DC? I ask the latter only for testing with my VOM. I have a supply of lamps that are the correct physical size, but they are 1.5 volt. Any thoughts?
