Hello,

Would someone please take a few minutes to scan a description, And post it here,  of the Santa Fe 2333 and the 2343 from the most recent edition Of Greenbergs Guide? At this point with all the wonderful help I have been getting on this forum, I am pretty sure I have a 2333 AB and another 2333 with a 2343 shell. There is no magnetraction on either and all the other tips that you all have posted have helped me determine this. But One of the gentlemen who answered me on here suggested the Greenberg's newest edition for  pictures and descriptions. I don't own a recent guide. Thank you.

PLEASE look to see what forum you are making these posts in!
I just moved this one from the 3RS forum to this one.

I have had to move several others, as well.

This subject has nothing to do with 3RS - 3-Rail Scale - modeling.

2333s AND 2343s all used the 2333-20 frame, so don't go by that part number. Since the frame with the motors on it doesn't have Magnetraction, it's a 2333. The dummy either has a 2343 shell or just 2343 number boards. The same shell was used for both the 2333/2343, and only the number boards changed, so all you really need to find is a set of 2333 number boards.

If the GM decals and stamped lettering match on both shells, then simply find a set of 2333 number boards and relax.

I apologize mr. Ogr webmaster. I am very new to the forum  experience. As well as RR trains and such.  I am not even sure which forum my questions should be in, mainly because I don't even know what all the # and letters stand for or what Gauge means. I am trying to learn all I can in order to be a good steward of all I have been giving. I hope I am learning quickly.
