Glad to see chivalry is not dead. At least in O Gauge
Well, chivalry is pretty dead on my layout. Maybe this couple has been married too long - he's content to let her open her own car door. Or maybe he's just distracted, hearing the siren song of those Lionel locos inside the store they've just parked at . . . You've got good people on your layout, Chris D (Nice cars, too).

staging is always fun! ill have to setup the police sting!
Im going to light up the cars this summer to place on the new layout in the winter.
I realized that my plastic needs trimmed on the feet! but Im not even done with anything yet!
There is always something to do. I pose figures by drilling a small hole, about a #70 to #65 drill bit, up a leg about 5/16 inch (this can be a challenge but with care it is easy to do), then drill a similar hole about 1/4 inch into the base material I am posing them on and use 1/2 inch of #24 -#28 copper wire as a type of peg to postion and hold them. Works great. If I want to move them later I can just patch the hole.
Chris,
I knew I should've went to the car show!! Oh well, maybe next year!
I almost laughed out loud here at work when I read Lee's "Well, chivalry is pretty dead on my layout." comment
It was packed and I had to park in the strip! cold day also. They had Kinsmart and Jada cars there. I hope I kept the receipt, im going to try to see if they are on-line. they had a ton of different Caddys from 50's, 55 vettes, then some modern stuff, mailtrucks and modern cars also. every flavor.
I got a orange 55 chevy stepside truck and an icecream truck I think Ill put a bunch of colored LED lights on it. a cool thing would be to activate a button speaker of a ice cream song! maybe I can wire up an MP3 player to a speaker and hide it on a building! now Im getting carried away!

An ice cream truck sounds neat, even without the LEDs and music. What size is it and do you have a picture you can post? The only ones I have seen are way too big!
