I got out my Proto 1 Railking Southern Pa-1s and I seem to remember a device that allowed you to access all Protomone functions easily.Any ideas?

QSI used to make a box called a Power Programmer which was designed to make programming easier. Is that what you are looking for? You can usually find one on the Bay.

The Lionel TPC and the new Legacy PowerMaster also have macro functions for PS/1 and PS/2 locomotives in conventional mode. I think the ZW-L (may) have those functions as well, but I'm not sure of that.
I think the QSI power programmer is the one I was thinking of.Thanks!

I'd bet the ZW-L does as the ZW-C does.
The best device for reprogramming Proto 1 Locos is the MTH Z-4000.
Of course both the ZW-L and the ZW-C have those capabilities.
The QSI device was called a sidekick. Here is a picture (the one on top in the box). The bottom one is a very lame early soundboard.

No macro programming with the ZW-C. G
Right, I was thinking of the remote operation from the TMCC remote.
