Hey MTH! If there’s no York in Oct. how about this?

What a great idea.  Yet I don’t believe MTH will be closing.  Just think they someone will pick them up.  Maybe not now with market conditions but I believe it will happen.  

So you think that if you live near by, You can get all the parts. What about people that live away from there. maybe they would like some of the parts.

I think a better idea would be to give Mike a huge party of thanks. It shouldn't be about us but about Mike and what he has done for the hobby. Don

How about both?  I believe the intent of the post was if MTH was going out of business mine as well sell what they have in their inventory.   A party for Mike would be a great separate thread to start.  Fortunately for me I live in the east coast.  So I could attend both.  Any thoughts or ideas to celebrate MTH would be great.  They had a big part in getting me back into the hobby for sure.  

Fantastic idea.  I'm only 25 minutes from Columbia  and would love to attend both.

This would be a great time to go and find some hidden jems that have gotten forgotten about. 

There might still be a social distancing problem at the MTH facility.

I think this is a great idea.Like everyone else on this board we would be able to give Mike Wolf a proper sendoff for all that he has done for the hobby.

So, get into your car and drive there.  A warehouse sale is usually at the warehouse.

You have had no problem driving to York all these years. So drive to Maryland...it’s not that far from York.

Yeah, right. It's only about a 2,800 mile round trip for me.  

Never been to York for the same reason. How about holding the sale at a mid-point, say Kansas City. See how eager you guys are to jump in your cars then.

5,200+ mile R/T for me (and many others).

Not in my back yard either.... 500 mile round trip for me.

Maybe if they have the sale, we can fill up a cement mixer with parts and drive it around the country and randomly deliver parts on the lawn of the guys who aren't willing to make the trip?

Why not move York to Kansas City?

I would think the guys going into the service business from MTH might have a problem with MTH selling of the parts inventory.  I can see any excess product but I think the parts would be part of the warranty and support business that they are setting up.
