Would anyone know what the minimum radius for the O gauge Hiawatha freight set is? I know the passenger set requires 072.

Should be 031 for the Hiawatha 4-4-2 engine and freight cars.
Only the passenger cars need 072, they were designed for the 700e original.
Lionel only made 027, 031 and 072 curves at that time.
just in case this isn't the Lionel-only forum and you might have meant the American Flyer 1740/43 sets, its O40. O30 for the uncataloged, Flyer, tinplate Hiawatha freights.
I bought the MTH version of the Hiawatha freight set and I found that the engine requires O54 curves.

That said, be wary as Pride Lines' quality control wasn't always the best.
You have a gift for understatement. What that really means is "Be prepared to replace every moving part with Lionel or MTH parts - some of which are very hard to find." I speak from experience.
