I've tried Googling 'The history of MTH HO trains' hoping to learn the origin of their line. Someone in a review I read last year mentioned that they used a previous manufacturers mold for the PA's. Can't find that article and have been unable to locate any historical information on the origins of Mike's HO line.  Can anyone enlighten me further?

Thanks SPSF, I wasn't aware of this information. Was familiar with MTH's lawsuit with Bob Grubba but didn't connect it with BLI and Lionel's HO tools.  Makes sense...

The only MTH HO piece I have at present is a UP Alco PA that I'm quite impressed it so far. Great sound and fan driven smoke. Heavy little rascals they are too. Very smooth running.
