Love it. Pulls 12 postwar cars. No problem
Excellant product, looks, speed control, sound, smoke. All Lionchief engines are a great value, I have 14 steam & diesel, plus if you want they can run on the same track as Legacy engines at the same time, mix & match.
Love it- has everything- great whistle, steam, deep realistic chuff. Better than the previous LC+ that I have. 8 Wheels- seems to be a good puller- I usually pull 18+ cars, mixed PW and modern.
Wow!Sounds like a winner. But keep em coming guys.
Lion chief is good stuff...matches well with lionmaster engines...run them together on same track using tmcc and lionmaster remote or cell phone/Bluetooth app...all kinds of fun with features that used to be on big scale stuff but this stuff runs on small radius track so you don't need a whole basement to set up a really nice semi-scale o layout that has a really nice proportion and has a somewhat scale look.
I'm a fan!
The Berkshire is outstanding! I pulled 24 cars around my layout (about O-46 compound curves of O-48 and O-36) for an hour, on multiple occasions. Zero problems starting this train, no overheating. No idea where the upper limit on train length is, at least somewhere beyond 30 cars, I would estimate, but could be much higher.
