Since all this excitement of the VL Bigboys, I was wondering just how many do you own? Either Lionmaster, JLC, VL, Premiere, Railking, MTH, 3rd Rail etc.

Only one a MTH. But also have a 9000 series #9000 and a FEF #844 rounding out my UP steam.
Ron
One, MTH HO scale #4014

Checked my inventory twice...
Exactly none.

I have two. I model in the late 1940s thru the mid 1950s, so I have the MTH Premier #4014, from some years ago (PS2), plus the Sunset/3rd Rail #4023.
No big boys here. My Eastern Railroads layout (with the varied curves) cannot handle a big boy, plus I never spend anywhere near what the importers are asking for this Chinese Toy.
One. MTH Premier. 4013. I've had it about four years and just finished my track so I can run it. I like the smoke feature, but the smoke doesn't like my sinuses.

MTH made a UP #4013?
MTH made a UP #4013? That's the number on the side of mine. I just went down and double checked the number. I bought it with the Passenger set from Jim's Trains
Set Features: Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 Big Boy Steam Engine (Cab No. 4013), (1) R50B Express Reefer Car, (2) 70' Streamlined Coach Cars, (1) 70' Streamlined Observation Car

Is it a PS2? Darn, I sure wish I had purchased THAT road number instead of the 4014.
Yes PS2. Runs like a champ on my Fastrack O84 and O72.
3 of them with more planned to be bought in the future. The VL and K-Line BBs in O, and a late model Rivarossi N scale BB.
I have one, a Proto One on display in the train room.

Six. All MTH and all PS-2. Joe
As many as I can get my self into debt to get them!!!!
MTH Premier, RK and and VL Lionel so far
I am interested in the Scale wheeled MTH BB for the 2015 release. Who has the best pre-order price?
Lionmaster BB with the Whistle Steam effect.
Runs great. Sounds great. Negotiates any and all of our Fastrack curves and looks properly sized with our freight cars.
1 Lionmaster TMCC. Just right for me.
one 4014.
If I was still working I would get another one!!
and no I'm not getting a job just to get another one.
One, a Lionmaster (old version with TMCC). I sort of got it by accident. I had no intention of acquiring a Big Boy, and no real interest, but I was setting up for a train show one day and the guy across the aisle set out a mint Lionmaster Big Boy with the kind of price tag that you break your wrist reaching for your wallet. Nice engine, I like it and it looks good on my small layout, but I would't even have thought about a Big Boy if it hadn't been too cheap to pass up. I did have to do a little work on it, the smoke unit was screwed up from the factory and the other guy hadn't tested it, but no big problem in comparison to the deal I got.
Nada, zilch, zero.
One - KLine Semi-scale.
