When I brought my last box in, my wife said how many more do you need ? So... I said how many pairs of shoes do you need? You can send cards to my hospital room number 323.

We will send boxcars to room 323 instead of cards! Hahaha!
There is no such thing as too many boxcars... Menards makes it too darn easy and inexpensive! My biggest problem is having a tough time finding a place to store all of the empty boxes. It's full under the layout right now. I'm going place another order tomorrow for red/silver Santa Fe, New Haven and Tank Train cars.... great, more boxes I don't have room for! Lol
Bob, I think you and I should start going to the meetings!! Lol

Can you find the 5 prototype cars ? Hint. They are on top of each other
A Menards museum ! I love it
Buy a real boxcar and park it in your backyard. Use it for storage. When you roll a door back and boxes start falling on the ground, it may be time to scale back. Just a suggestion. Have fun, BK
Great collection Bob!
When visitors come to my house, they ask for the trains. No one has ever requested shoes or jewelry.
Great suggestion, William 1! Good to see we have another one for the meetings Bob!!Lol
Got my ho Menards power station, wow! 20 lights. Should light up like a Cristmas tree.
Now if I can convince Menards to make ho freight cars like they do in O I'll be all in even if some of the cars are fantasy like the SF car.
Great collection Bob.
When you are released from room 323 in the hospital, I imagine you can expect to find a 'few' more pairs of new shoes when you get home. My wife doesn't need any more shoes, but she does have a cast iron skillet and a large, solid maple rolling pin. I now wear a helmet when I bring home any new train items.
When off the top of your head, you cannot respond "I have X Boxcars", I would say that is too many, When it comes to O gauge, I have too much. I couldn't pull an exact # for cabooses right now.
Hello guys and gals.........
I have just 3 boxcars isn't that enough ?
Tiffany
Ten is too many and a hundred not enough.............
I have 500 freight cars and 150 passenger cars. And easily 200 engines and enjoy and use all of it.
Buy all you want and enjoy. Life is short.
He who dies owning the most boxcars, is still dead. What's the point of buying a slew of rolling stock, just to leave is stored away in boxes?
Ok..anyone found the Menards prototypes yet ?
"How many boxcars can a man have?"
I dunno. How much money you got?
George
Earthquakes are very very rare in this part of the country Tiffany. Unlike California which will slip into Pacific Ocean one day.
I've never counted them. Probably won't worry about it, until i run out of space. There are several cars I always buy if the price is right. But then I also don't worry about duplicate numbers.

I must have at least 55 not Menard's, but Bob you need help!
He's getting it! Going to the meetings! Hoping to meet people like him who will help him build more shelves! LOL
Jerry, that's hilarious ! But still, O scale tunnel derailments can cause obstruction!
Some real trains have had 50 to 100 box cars, meaning that you need at least 50 box cars.
Andrew
With so many road names and all the colors of a rainbow, box cars are a car you can't get enough of.
You can never have enough box cars. And I think Cabinet Bob has all the Menard's prototypes......Paul
For folks who like mathematics the correct formula is N + 1.
