I just purchased a new F40PH, TIU, and WIU. I am a first time MTH buyer after considering  nothing but Lionel for 40 years. Very impressed. However, I have been unable to contact technical support with an issue. I submitted a request through the appropriate email form on the MTH website and never received a response. Very disappointed. I am very familiar with Lionel's customer service responsiveness. What should I expect from MTH?

My issue is with a bug in the app which causes delayed communication, voltage surges, and loss of control in conventional variable voltage operation. The bug has been reproduced by another respected forum member and DCS expert. Nobody likes seeing trains fly off the end of their layout.

I would appreciate receiving the favor of a response from MTH. I'm a serious hobbyist, and spend a lot of money on trains. But I'm new to MTH. So, I'm kind of evaluating how you guys handle customer service as I weigh the direction I take with future purchases.

Thanks,

Greg Reinke

I have always had good luck calling MTH on the phone. Email not so much. If you don't get someone directly, leave a message and they will call you back. It may take them a few days, but they have always returned my calls. I believe they only take support calls during certain hours, but I forget what the hours are? Seems like maybe noon to 4 pm or something? There is also a chance this could have been reported by the respected forum member you mention above, after your previous thread? Anyway, try calling them and good luck. They are a very good company and I don't think anyone gets much more excited about trains than Mike Wolf. He's a true train guy and they also make some really nice trains and other items.
