Hello,I have 4 Lionel #151 Semaphores with broken arms.I have the replacement arms, and I was wondering if anyone out there has ever done this repair.I imagine you just have to "beat"the pin out that holds the arm in place, but after trying for an hour,it just does not want to move more than a 1/8 inch!!!Is this how you do it?,or is there an easier way to do this repair?I welcome any help,as I do not want to damage the piece by "beating" too hard on the pin!!!Thanks and Happy Railroading,Kenny

Try to ease the pin out by wedging a screwdriver blade or small pair of wire cutters behind the head of the pin and flexing back and forth against the light housing until the pin backs out enough to come loose from the arm. I've only done the repair on one semaphore and that's how I did it. Just be careful you don't damage the light housing.
