In my ongoing attempt to buy/kitbash/scratchbuild B&M freight cars, I came across this photo of an early autorack.  The car was built 10-68, the picture is probably 1984.  I see that the current type of Trailer Train flat was introduced in 1974, and that seems to be what all the manufacturers' models are based on.  Any idea how to make this type?  It appears to have two deep longitudinal beams with cross braces for the deck.  I've never seen cars where the crossbraces extend beyond the sides this way.  Any info on this type of car appreciated.  Thanks.

i think the Atlas would be a good start.  i have since learned a little more about the car from info someone posted on the Rail Pictures Site. Pullman Standard built 150 (908680-908829) in Sept. and Oct. 1968 for Trailer Train lease to several railroads.  The Pullman designations were Lot 9330, class F89WH, the WH indicating a rack by Whitehead & Kales  .  There were other cars in the 908600 series that were very similar.
