Set was just delivered. I received set 6-84719, that tells me the new sets are expected soon or have already been received and Lionel wants to move out all of the old sets before releasing any of the new versions.
Doesn’t bother me that I didn’t get the new version, I can experiment with running both FT’s on a single train. Just have to find the post showing what wires to reverse in my old engine to run them tail-to-tail.
If they are dc can motors, just the leads at the motors would (probably) work.
