Well, I received my brand new, in the box, MTH Turbo-Train last night. Opened the box. Read the book. Lubed and oiled. placed train on track. Started it up with the DCS system and WOW!. Great sound. Great lighting. Smoke poring from the stacks a blast of the horn and off we go. About 4 feet and off we go again. That's off the track. Jack knifing like a big rig. Well the smile and grin left my face like some one was standing on my toe. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. There she was. Stopped an dying.

Now, I have had this layout up for about 5 years now. You could walk around it back then. Not now. You understand! They just seem to grow and grow. Not my fault, it just happens. --- It seems the outside rail line of the original setup was 072(MTH) O gauge. But when expanding and wanting more track and sidings, you have a tendency to, well, tighten up. To want more track in other words. And there lies the problem. I guess I used O54 and forgot about it. I did not try to put the Turbo on the original track yet as I'm not living where the set up is. But today I will be back to try and save my beauty from becoming a Shelf Queen. And it is, a beauty. When they say O72, they mean O72!!
