I want to hear the EMD turbo more on the older units sound sets

If you remember them, first generation EMD turbos (567Dx engines) in GP20s, 30s and 35s had a pretty weird sounding syncopated beat that changed with throttle setting. I would think that would be very difficult to reproduce. I'm glad my roster is EMD SWs with just that old non-turbo chant.

I want that low end rumble and the turbo whine that the older EMDs had. Could be the GP/SD40 series too.

Here's the EMD 16-645 I believe:

I just put a newer 3/2 MTH SD45 on my 2 rail layout. It only has scale wheels installed so far. The rest is still 3 rail. It has been on the shelf waiting for full conversion.

I was pretty happy with the overall sounds. It doesn't have the very high pitched squeal or the deepest turbo sounds. It does have a good balance for what speaker is in there.

I was originally going by memory of an older PS2 (1 meg?) sound set that I put into a command upgraded USA Trains sd40-2.

I find that the Railsounds for the TMCC GP30 and the SD40 Railsounds that I swapped into my Atlas GP35 have fantastic turbo sounds.
