ID a board set?

Trying to identify a circuit board set that has in large white letters on the top "QS-3000".

Is it an older MTH Proto boardset, or some QSI board set? Supposedly was installed as some sort of conversion, but we can't determine if that's true or if it is in fact the original board set for that locomotive, a Pere Marquette #1225.

It doesn't appear to be working so we'd like to replace it, but don't know what board set to use without knowing who made the "QS-3000" set.

It's a QSI board set. The ProtoSound boards didn't say QS-3000 on them.

You could replace it with a ProtoSound board set pretty easily.
