I would like to control my Legacy engines with a "IF" scenario with IR sled recordings.
Example 1: if another train is occupying a switch ahead of me (on the divergent track path), I want to bring my engine to a stop, wait 30 seconds, throw the switch and continue)
Example 2: I have a lift bridge that is on a timed schedule. If it is up, an approaching train will halt, wait, Perhaps play some tower com, and then continue.
To make this work, a relay would connect power to the IR sled when the scenario is active. (otherwise, in either scenario, the train would not pause and continue through as normal). The question is, which wire(s) in the IRV2 to sensor sled will disconnect/reconnect the sled.
(I would use a relay to disconnect/reconnect the targeted power wire).
Does anyone know the wiring for the sled connection to the IRV2 ? ....or does anyone know of a simpler way to do this for Legacy engines?
